I organize art auctions
PrimaryWe created work collectively with the Early Explorers ( 4 year olds) with a grade 2 class in order to have a silent auction and raise money for relief work in Nepal.
One of our wonderful younger years teacher Jennifer Clarke expresses what this is very well:
Silent Art Auction
In the EE atrium you will find some beautiful artwork made by EE and Grade 2 students on passion day. It is a written auction. The proceeds will go towards victims of the Nepal earthquake. Please help our students take action by coming down and taking a look and perhaps placing a bid. They would make excellent gifts for family or friends or just add that special touch to your house or classroom! The auction will close at 4. All successful bidders will be informed tomorrow.

This was an amazing experience for the students and teachers. Students from Early Explorers 4 ( 4 year old students) and grade 2 came together to create works that were auctioned to our school community. This raised money for the earthquake victims in Nepal. My husband, Todd, had organized a "Passion Day" in the primary in our school. "Passion Day" was created so that students and teachers could follow their passion for a whole school day. EE4 ( Early Explorers 4) had not originally been scheduled into the day but with the help of grade 2, were included and felt proud of what they had accomplished, raising so much money for Nepal earthquake victims. It was a fantastic day.
